Pre-daab Projects
Dennis Austin
Director Dennis Austin co-founded daab design in 2014. Dennis has enjoyed the cultural richness of living and practicing in New York, Paris and London and believes in earnest collaboration between Client, Architect, Engineer and Contractor. Prior to creating daab design Dennis held positions at; RSH+P, l’ADP, Santiago Calatrava and Rafael Viñoly. He is a licensed Architect in New York State. Trained in NYC, he has 30 years’ experience designing award-winning projects in Europe and North America. Dennis is Managing Director of HomeGrown +, a not-for-profit dedicated to improving diversity in Architecture and the creative industries. Dennis sits on the Advisory Board for Wandsworth Council’s Battersea Design and Technology Quarter project.
Anaïs Bléhaut
Director Anaïs Blehaut co-founded daab design 2014. Trained in Paris and Rome, she has 20 years of experience designing award-winning projects in Europe and North America. Anaïs has grown from the experiences of living and practising in Paris, Berlin and London and believes that urban problem solving relies on understanding the project’s contextual surround. Prior to creating daab design Anaïs held positions at; Will Alsop and HOK. She is RIBA Chartered, RIBA Conservation Architect, ARB registered and d.p.l.g qualified in France. Anaïs is a certified PassivHaus Designer.
David Hart
Architect David Hart joined daab design in 2017 having worked previously at BPTW where he gained valuable knowledge on the planning process. David is fascinated by the design process and creating spaces. David obtained his MArchD at The Oxford School of Architecture and his Part III at the University of Westminster.
Halima Ali
Architectural Assistant Halima Ali joined daab design in 2023 and brings an enthused passion and skill to her work. She is interested in the intersection between social welfare and design as a way to propose interventions that contribute to an equal and just society. Halima obtained her Part II MArch at the Architectural Association.
