daab is hiring: project architect w/5+ years post Part III.
daab design is looking for a Project Architect to take a leading role in delivering our residential refurbishment projects.

daab design is a Battersea based studio encompassing Architectural thinking power on a micro to macro scale. We apply large practice knowledge in a friendly studio format. About you
You would be thorough, thoughtful, and experienced in leading the delivery of single-family residential projects. You have an eye for detail, take pride in working collaboratively and have good project organisational skills. You are a good communicator. You would have:
● 5+ years post Part III
● Demonstrative experience in residential project delivery RIBA Stages 0-6
● Empathetic leadership skills and consultant coordination
● Experience in (Heritage) conservation including Listed Building projects
● Passion for materials research, bespoke detailing, and how things work
● Familiar with Passiv Haus design, Leti principles and generally aspiration to design low energy buildings
● Extensive knowledge in the UK planning process & building regulations
● Exceptional Skills in Client facing engagement and Contractor communication
● Strong presentation skills; oral and hand-sketching
● Outstanding skills in delivering projects in Revit
● French speaker and French project experience is a plus

About your role at daab
You will lead the daab team in developing schemes from concept through construction. You will lead the consultant team, have direct client contact, oversee site work, and oversee post occupancy evaluation measures. In short, you will play a key role in our practice as we develop a robust speciality in private residential architecture in the UK and internationally.
