The transformation of a ground floor flat into an open studio space.
Let there be light, and green and openness to promote wellbeing in the work place.
We created an office environment which reflects our values of collaboration, openness and calm. We did this by ensuring everyone has ample space to work, good natural daylight and access to collective “think spaces” to share ideas and stimulate creativity.
The transformation of a standard Ground maisonette added 40% of new floor space while retaining direct view and light meant creating a mix of masonry and lightweight timber construction. While the additional floor area responds to planning regulations, in terms of setback and adjacency, it maximizes daylight by creating a series of pocket gardens.
Polished concrete floors unify the open studio space and reclaimed wood flooring within the Kitchen and Conference area provide warmth and comfort.
