Modern methods of construction offer clear benefits of enhanced thermal performance, air tightness, quality, safety and reduction of onsite build time. The housing crisis is too severe and the need to rethink our carbon expenditure in construction and post-occupation too urgent to remain ignored.
We believe strongly in the use of off-site prefabricated construction methods as a valuable tool in delivering sustainable, high quality, affordable homes and our concepts address volumetric and panelised solutions. Our goal is to develop systems which reflect the full potential of a beautifully expressive architecture through mass prefabrication.
Ongoing efforts include our work with Southwark Council’s Architectural Design Services Framework for new homes. We are keen to engage with other clients who share our goals in addressing the housing crisis and reducing the carbon footprint of the built environment.
